Islander by birth, Yucatecan at heart, since she was little she was instilled with art and a taste for cooking. She grew up in Yucatán where from the age of 14 he developed his ability to cook. She studied as a Professional Chef at the Culinary School of the Southeast in Mérida. She did professional internships and worked for some restaurants such as Pujol, Hotel Rosas & Chocolate and Taste.
She started for the first time with a small pasta and salad restaurant called Mamma Lola and also taught cooking classes in different schools such as the Marist University of Mérida, Mesoamerican University of San Agustín, Cocina + Arte and UTM.
In 2019, Adela Café opened on the island of Cozumel, Quintana Roo. This is her most recent project. Today she is one of the most recognized chefs on the peninsula.
